NARMPP supervisory actions, the first Semester of 2010
National Authority for Regulating and Monitoring Public Procurement carried out 151 investigations on national contracting authorities in the first half of 2010.
NARMPP filled out 96 written warnings, fines in a total amount of about EUR 673,809 and 153 prescribed penalties.
Investigations included a wide range of authorities, with different spheres of activity. The largest fines levied by the contracting authorities are: Administration of Lakes, Parks and Recreation Bucharest (EUR 47,000), SC Public Domain SA Turda (EUR 47,000), Varasti Commune (EUR 24,000), Gheorghieni Municipality (EUR 24,000), APANOVA (EUR 32,000), Chiajna Commune (EUR 48,000 – aggregate fine) and National Agency for Fisheries and Aquaculture (EUR 23,000).
